Amanda Loker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). 

Amanda is a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Social Work, followed by a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has extensive experience in various mental health and substance abuse treatment settings including inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, medication assisted treatment, and mental health focused private practice.  

Amanda focuses on creating a judgement-free zone in order to create a safe, secure, and validating environment. Amanda utilizes a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Experiential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Amanda will focus on goals throughout the therapeutic relationship, 

In her free time, Amanda loves to spend time with her husband and their two feline furbabies (Lucius and Pandora). Amanda loves to read and play video games. As well as cosplaying at various comic conventions.
