Janae Johnson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a post-master’s certificate from South College, a Master’s in Leadership and Health Systems Management from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Janae’s nursing journey has been both diverse and impactful. She began her career in psychiatric nursing, providing care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. With a passion for learning and growth, she later expanded her expertise to the medical side of nursing, training and working in cardiology, and serving as a Cardiac Nurse for several years. Janae has also ventured into travel nursing, gaining invaluable experiences across a variety of healthcare settings, both medical and psychiatric. Most recently, she dedicated herself to serving veterans at the Nashville VA Medical Center, ensuring they received the utmost care and support they deserved. 

Committed to the field of mental health, Janae’s true passion lies in women’s mental health services, while professionally, she is dedicated to working with individuals across the lifespan. She is equipped at treating a wide range of mental health conditions and is always eager to provide compassionate and personalized care. Utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach, she tailors individualized care and treatment plans, incorporating medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic methods to prioritize her patients’ well-being.
