Laurie Chesser is an LMSW who completed her Bachelor’s degree through Murray State University and spent five years working as a BSW doing case management. She felt called to grow in the field and enrolled in the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s.

Laurie worked as a school-based therapist for about two years with an outside agency, provided individual therapy to high school students experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other diagnoses. She utilized evidence-based modalities with a whole-person approach.

She’s been married to her husband for 28 years, and they are proud parents of two adult children and grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren. For fun she likes to attend hockey games and recently took up crocheting. The finished products can be a little questionable, but she’s having a great time learning.
