Melissa McGuire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience.  Melissa completed her Master’s of Social Work degree at the University of Tennessee and has spent the last 7 years providing therapy to children and teens in the school system while also helping adults and children navigate grief as a grief counselor

Melissa has experience working with neurodivergent children and teens and utilizes various methods to connect with them, while providing them with a safe space to express themselves and develop the skills that they need to succeed in their everyday life.  She also has experience working with adults and their families as they navigate end of life care and the grief that comes before and after a loved one’s passing.  Melissa is passionate about working with clients of all ages to help them develop skills and find calm in a world that can feel out of control.

When she isn’t working, you can find Melissa planning trips and working on her own inner peace through meditation and self-care. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancée, teenage son, and a 14 year-old cockapoo that rules the house!
