Tamika is a licensed professional counselor with experience in mental health services. She earned a BA in Sociology from Fisk University and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University.

She has worked with co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, trauma, substance abuse, and personality disorders. Tamika has facilitated groups on domestic violence, self-care, and parenting skills, and works with clients of all ages from adolescents to the elderly. Tamika collaborates with clients to create treatment goals using an eclectic approach. She aims to assist clients in recognizing their value and self-worth, navigating life’s challenges, and understanding the impact of maladaptive thought patterns.

She advocates for mental health awareness, encouraging hope and highlighting available support resources to prevent individuals from suffering in silence
