Madeline Hanford is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Tennessee. Madeline began practicing in 2024 and is based in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Madeline specializes in perinatal mental health, mood disorders, and ADHD. She works with a diverse range of populations, including individuals aged 6 to 65, and addresses concerns such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use, PTSD, and trauma.

In her sessions, Madeline fosters a collaborative environment where patients are encouraged to be active partners in their care. She combines evidence-based pharmacotherapy and supportive counseling with education, taking a genuine interest in understanding each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Madeline believes that mental health is foundational to well-being and aims to empower her patients to lead fulfilling lives.
