Myriam Fareau is a licensed professional counselor. She received her BS in Psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville and her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Myriam has worked in a variety of roles, providing therapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups and seeing clients across the lifespan, from children to older adults. She has helped clients struggling with general mental health issues, relationship issues, trauma, disabilities and substance use.

Myriam is a Certified Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapist, Certified Prepare Enrich Pre-Marital Couple’s Counselor, and a Certified Couple’s Communications therapist. She has expertise using Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
